We are pleased to announce that Berny Yang has been appointed as General Manager of Chinese Mainland. Berny joined Summergate in February this year and has quickly grown into his leadership role within Summergate. Berny has been leading the team as we work through the special period of time that the entire nation was facing. Regarding to the new appointment, Chris Cramond, General Manager of Woolworths International and Chairman of Summergate said: Berny is a tremendous talent and someone who I am delighted to see lead our Summergate business in Chinese Mainland.

Mr.Yang has over 25 years of experience in the drink industry across China. His previous positions include holding general management leadership roles with Diageo China, Mast-Jagermeister, Constellation Brands, and Jovo under the company Jiang Xiao Bai. With new responsibility and challenges, Berny said: Ever since I joined Summergate, I have been fulfilling my objectives, to learn, to contribute, and to achieve meaningful things with great joy. In the coming days, I wish I could collaborate with all “Summergaters” to clearly position Summergate, a well-established brand, so that all of our team members feel proud for the company, and all the business partners and customers are happily satisfied to work with us.”

Summergate has close to 10 offices across China, the business is covering the majority of important regions including Hong Kong and Macau. Sabrina Hosford, Summergate's General Manager of Hong Kong and Macau, will continue to lead the regional team and work together with the Mainland team to develop our business across the nation, keep bringing high quality drinks to Chinese customers.
